1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Chao Events platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

Chao Events is an online ticketing platform that facilitates the purchase of tickets for water splash music festival events across Malaysia. We act as an intermediary between event organisers and attendees, providing a secure and convenient way to browse events, purchase tickets, and receive digital entry passes.

3. Ticket Purchases

All ticket purchases are subject to availability. When you purchase a ticket, you will receive a digital ticket with a unique QR code sent to the email address you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address you provide is accurate and accessible. Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise by the event organiser.

Ticket prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and may vary based on tier, pricing phase (e.g., early bird, regular, or door pricing), and availability. Prices are subject to change without prior notice until the point of purchase.

4. Payments

All payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Billplz. Chao Events does not store your credit card or bank account information. By completing a purchase, you authorise the payment to be processed by our payment partner in accordance with their terms and conditions.

Orders that are not completed within the specified time window will automatically expire and any reserved tickets will be released back into the available pool.

5. Refunds

Refund policies are determined by the respective event organisers. In general, ticket purchases are considered final and non-refundable. If an event is cancelled by the organiser, refunds will be processed in accordance with the organiser's refund policy. Please contact us via WhatsApp or email for refund inquiries related to specific events.

6. Event Entry

Entry to events is subject to the terms and conditions set by the event organiser. You must present a valid QR code (digital or printed) at the event entrance for verification. Each QR code is valid for a single entry only. Chao Events is not responsible for denied entry due to invalid, duplicated, or tampered tickets.

Event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual at their discretion, including but not limited to cases involving intoxication, disruptive behaviour, or violation of event rules.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems connected to the Service.
Resell or attempt to resell tickets at a price higher than the original purchase price unless authorised by the event organiser.
Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Chao Events acts as a ticketing platform and is not the organiser of any events listed on the Service. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your attendance at any event. Our liability to you in connection with the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the relevant ticket(s).

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or suitability of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
